Virtually all University accommodation is within 10 to 15 minutes’ walk of the George Square and Holy rood campuses, and within 25 minutes’ walk of the King’s Buildings. There is a comprehensive and flexible municipal bus network operating in the University areas, as well as the rest of the city. Cycling is a very viable option. There are special bus and cycle lanes in use on most major streets.
